CambroRFS12148 White Poly Round 12 Qt Container

I needed something this size for brining cucumbers before pickling. It was perfect!

I was disappoint that it had no lid, but should have!

Don’t show a lid with the product if it’s NOT included! Then hide that small detail in the fine print. Like the tub but not happy with description of product.

Had to purchase separately. Should come with lid, since that’s what’s in the picture.

They bury the lid not included text in the description and all other containers similar to this come with lids. I bought this due to the price being better than the other similar containers but now that I have to go in and buy the lid separately it isn't a better price. Its actually worse. The container itself is great but no lid makes it the worse choice to the competition.

Cambro buckets are recommended for mixing and proofing bread and these work well for that purpose.A competitor could easily surpass Cambro by making simple improvements to this product:1. Bucket inside rim is quite sharp-edged and will scratch or cut you if you are not careful when mixing contents. A smooth rounded inside rim would be an improvement.2. Lids are softer plastic and must be heated with hot water to stretch to fit. When forcing these tight lids, plastic shreds are created which can fall into the food. Tupperware managed to make soft plastic lids that do not shred, so we know that it can be done. Very annoying, have to scrape off the shreds with a knife tip.3. Lids are typically sold separately. I can see buying extra or replacement lids but the price of bucket and lid separately is excessive.I'm shopping for a better quality, better value container because of these issues.

Such a sturdy container! Bought to keep critters out of 25 pounds of salt-works great!

I purchased 2 of the 12 qt tubs with lids. I did not get the lids. Tubs are not good for flour storage without lids

Wish it came with the lid.

As pictured I was thinking a lid was included with this container. There is no lid in the box. I did a little research and the lid is over $32 which is only slightly less than the container itself. What a rip off. Very disappointed and will be returning it as it is not worth $70+

Do not let the image mislead you... it does not come with a lid! Was super disappointed to find this out, but I really needed it to brine some turkey breasts and it arrived next day (even though it said it would take longer).
