**Q: This contains bleach, correct? So it would not be advised for pet owners who have pets that may try to drink from the tree stand?**
A: I am in the office now so I can't read the ingredients on the can, but if it or the posting for it says it has bleach in it and you have a pet that might drink the water, then no, don't take the chance. We have two dogs but our tree holder into which water is poured is configured to make it virtually impossible for our dogs to get near enough to it or to put their big snouts into it. Also, they have always left the tree alone.

**Q: Can your product be used to water live plants if I have some extra mixed up already?**
A: Hi, 
The Perfect Plants Christmas Tree Saver is meant for cut trees to preserve them for a longer period of time. I would not use this mixture on live plants. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
