For a product with a particular job to do these are okay. I bought them for traveling on a plane. They are fairly comfortable and don't show through you clothing if you seated it right. I did not have a gas problem during these flights but wanted to be prepared. Sooooo embarassing. There was a drunk man seated next to me that sure could have used one. Best advice is to be careful of what you eat or drink before your flight. I read somewhere that airlines might consider making the seats with odor absorbing cushions. Great idea....now if they could just give some leg room and a seat that reclines better........
