Nice Deck with a guide book, but only I found difference in some color difference from original.

I really liked it, beautiful cards but the only issue is the cards dont say the name for it.. so i have to google them..

Estuve a punto de cometer el HORROR y el ERROR de devolver este hermosísimo mazo de cartas, empecé a tomarle fotografías contrastando las cartas con las del mazo "RADIANT RIDER-WAITE" para quejarme tontamente como muchos otros compradores que han escrito aquí sus opiniones de que las imágenes están muy oscuras, que los colores están alterados y no corresponden al diseño correcto, ejemplo: la carta "II" de "LA SACERDOTIZA" cuyo velo debe ser específicamente de color azul celeste porque ese color tiene un significado especial para la lectura y la interpretación y en este mazo la carta tiene un color verde pistache, también para quejarme de que las lineas de las figuras son muy toscas, gruesas y eso le da en general un aspecto sucio a las cartas, etc.Hasta que al hacer las fotografías percibí la enorme belleza y la abrumadora energía que este mazo tiene y que transmite un carácter y una energía muy fuertes con toda la sabiduría con la que fué concebido por su creador original "A. E. WAITE" y que debe ser valorado como "antigüedad" y una reliquia histórica que sólo quien sabe apreciar la belleza y el valor de lo antiguo lo puede sentir. Y por supuesto así debe de ser ya que es una copia fiel, un FACSIMIL del mazo "RIDER WAITE" original de finales del siglo XIX.Obviamente nada tendría que ver y como compradores tampoco deberíamos esperar o exigir el refinamiento del diseño de un mazo totalmente actualizado y reparado en sus lineas y sus colores como el "RADIANT RIDER-WAITE"; por el contrario debemos mirarlo y apreciarlo de la misma manera como se aprecia un buen vino añejo, un automóvil clásico o un fino mueble antiguo y saber que parte de su antigüedad son sus colores alterados por el paso del tiempo y sus lineas gruesas y toscas.Cuando lo vi de esta manera y desde esta perspectiva LO AMÉ, ME ENAMORÉ Y LO ADORÉ TOTALMENTE y desde luego decidí quedármelo y no devolverlo. A fin de cuentas quien se considera un tarotista profesional debe ya tener memorizado cada detalle y cada color de cada carta y su completo significado, por tanto no necesita que esta réplica de una reliquia histórica tenga los colores exactos y correctos.

Bought this set of Tarot cards as it claims to be the original but it is not. It is a cheap copy of very inferior quality. The colour and printing of the cards are dull and smudgy not vibrant and clear as they are supposed to be. The seller should specify that it is not the original. Also the product should not be labeled as original by Amazon. The cards did not even have a box but were put in a plastic bag with a rubber band and then put into a cloth bag. Extremely disappointed.

Das Rider Waite Tarot ist eines der bekanntesten und am weitesten verbreiteten Tarot Kartendecks weltweit. Es sind wunderbare magische Karten, die ich jedem nur empfehlen kann. Da sich die zahllosen unterschiedlichen Ausgaben dieses Kartendecks in erster Linie durch die Druckqualität und die Wahl der Kartenrückseite unterscheiden, möchte ich dies hier auch ins Zentrum meiner Rezension stellen.Zunächst einmal die positiven Punkte. Die Kartenrückseite ist wirklich sehr schön gelungen. Es ist hier ein Blumenmuster abgebildet mit weißen Blüten auf hellblauem Hintergrund, wie es auch in dem Foto der Verpackung (mit anderen Farben) zu sehen ist. Das Design gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut und passt hervorragend zum Stil des Decks.Die Papierqualität der Karten ist absolut in Ordnung und vermittelt den Eindruck langer Haltbarkeit.Die Farben der Kartenvorderseiten sind im Gegensatz zum Original dunkler und weniger strahlend angelegt. Auch wenn dies nicht der Intention der Schöpfer dieses Kartendecks entspricht, so empfinde ich diese Farbgebung doch als sehr angenehm, wenn auch der Kontrast der Abbildungen insgesamt dadurch eher etwas leidet.Kommen wir nun zu den negativen Punkten, die auch schon in vielen anderen Rezensionen angesprochen wurden. Die Druckqualität ist insgesamt nicht wirklich gut. Alle Abbildungen wirken irgendwie leicht verwaschen und unscharf. Einige Details, die im Original zu sehen sind, verschwinden hier einfach und gerade im Gesichtsausdruck ist auf so einigen Karten zu sehen, dass dem Deck die Ausdruckskraft fehlt.Wem die Farbgebung des Originals zu intensiv ist und wer lieber sanftere erdigere Töne bevorzugt, für den ist dieses Kartendeck sicherlich trotz der qualitativen Mängel eine Überlegung wert. Für alle anderen muss man sagen, dass es deutlich bessere Ausgaben des Waite Tarots zu kaufen gibt.Und abschließend sei auch noch kritisch angemerkt, dass der Titel "The Original Rider Waite" eigentlich eine Irreführung ist, denn weder die Farben, noch die Abbildungen der Karten, noch die Rückseite entsprechen dem Original der Erstausgabe von 1910.

I can't believe I found these cards! I have (way too) many Tarot decks, yet this is the first that's really rung true for me. This is reminiscent of my first deck ever, that was given to me by my dear, late sister back in the '70s. Unfortunately, it got lost somewhere along the way, and I've searched for one like it for years. This is THE ONE! I absolutely love the more muted and sombre colours throughout and the heavier outlines, and I find that I am much more aware of the various symbols than I have been with any other decks. For me, they're a dream to read. The quality is great; the cards are quite thin; and they shuffle absolutely perfectly. I think I'm in love!

Excelente calidad de las cartas. Sí se ven un poco más obscuras, pero el delineado es excelente. Además, el booklet incluye completo el libro de E. Waite: "The key to the Tarot". Llegó en perfectas condiciones y la editorial US Games Sys. asegura una calidad inmejorable en todos mazos. Yo lo regalé y quedaron encantados... :)
