Product Features: Brand : Now Type : Vitamin C With Rose Hips Bioflavonoids Antioxidant Protection. Review: Simple, well-balanced formula for daily Vitamin C intake - This is exactly the kind of Vitamin C supplement I prefer: simple, straightforward and without an unnecessarily long ingredient list. Each serving provides 1 gram of Vitamin C as ascorbic acid, which contributes to normal immune system function, collagen formation and protection of cells from oxidative stress. I also like the addition of rose hips powder, a natural plant ingredient that naturally contains antioxidant compounds and complements the Vitamin C formula nicely. The rest of the ingredients are mainly functional: cellulose and the vegetarian coating form the tablet, while magnesium stearate is commonly used during manufacturing. There are no unnecessary flavours, colours or complicated blends. The tablets are easy for me to digest and convenient to take every day. I particularly appreciate the high but straightforward Vitamin C dose during periods when I want to make sure my daily intake is well covered. One clarification: Vitamin C supports normal immune function, but I would not describe any supplement as being able to prevent flu or colds on its own. Overall, a clean and practical Vitamin C supplement with a simple formulation and a useful addition of rose hips.
