Salomon Men's Evasion Cabrio Outdoor Sandal

I loved the TA II and still do. The picture shows a 14 year old daily runner in front of this new version. I bought over 8 pairs of TA IIs before they disappeared a decade ago. And I'm still running in them. I've finished the Mount Mitchell Challenge, the Umstead 100, and about 100 other races from 5k to 100 miles in them. So I was shocked and amazed when my hopeless Google search for any TA IIs for sale turned these up. The outsole in these is a harder rubber, and there's less mesh and more leather, but they feel and fit more like TA IIs than TA IIIs do. For the heel strap I just adjust it to where I want and then wrap an elastic band around the strap tail as a stopper. I do all my running without socks, and I have no chafing issues with these. They fit exactly the same as TA IIs. I'm buying a ton of these while I still can.

Since moving to Florida, I never wear socks or sneakers any more. I’m constantly just sliding on and off my footwear, and I also dislike sandals. These are absolutely perfect!!! I have a pair in the RV, a pair in the garage and a pair at the back door. They feel like sneakers but act as sandals. In the sand, in the rain, in the amusement parks, and hiking, these are great for all around use. If they start to smell I just wash them or hose them down and let them dry in the sun. I also wear Techamphibian 3 (which are awesome too) in a size 12 and I loosen the lace, I got these in a 12-1/2 and they fit great. They can be worn as slides with an exposed heel or as regular shoes.

el articulo es muy bueno. esta muy bien construido y se ve muy bien , buena calidad. la suela es dura funciona muy bien en el campo, no sientes molestias al pisar piedras o raices. el numero pienso que lo deves de pedir un numero mas grande al que usas con zapatos de otro tipo. yo en todas las marcas soy 10 y compre unos talla 11.5 y creo que los 11 me quedarian mejor. los talla 10 serian muy chicos.

Pros: Light weight, comfortable, looks good, stiff sole provides good protection on rocky trails. Cooler than shoes.Cons: Heal strap can allow the sandal to come off if your not careful because the webbing for the heal back does not stay sinched tight when hiking.That said I was still glad I had them hiking in the mountains on a hot day. I just had to tighten them down occasionally. Great for the price and looking forward to seeing the improvements for next years version.

The fit length was perfect, the comfort is or was not. The removable foot bed was too thin after trying different thickness foot beds I found one that worked the best. The sandal is almost as comfortable as my Merrell's but the Salomon has the best stable platform and helps with unstable ground. The sandal is excellent for walking. Traction is superb wet/dry or on gravel.The sandal is fairly light weight and feels cooler than an unventilated shoe.

Great shoe for using as a slip on. Haven't used it in water yet so can't comment on that. But it works out great for me because my foot is narrow in a 12.5. It also breathe well. However, the buckle for the back tends to slip. I wish they would have work that out and had a fix for it before they discontinued it. Kind of a bummer. Hopefully they'll come back with a new model with improvements.

Great long lasting breathable shoe. Haven't used them more than a couple times in the water but have worn them on hikes. I like the look of them for a casual shoe. I'm a big guy, 6'2" and 265 pounds. I destroy shoes and my work boots. These have held up for several months now and don't even scuff or scratch easily. I plan to buy these again.

As with feet.... reviews differ. I was a little leary upon ordering these hiking shoe/sandals as I have blister problems with some hiking shoes. These babies are terrific. Over the past week since purchasing them I've hiked Smith Rocks, Tumalo Falls and Tumalo Peak Trails, all with steep terrain and have had great comfort with them and no rubbing or blisters at any time. I will say I do wear short liner socks. I plan to take these up Mt. Adams to at least the Crescent Glacier before switching to my climbers and crampons. Just my 2 cents.

Der Vorgänger war wirklich super...warum macht man danach alles falsch? Die Züge, der Verschluß, alles nicht so sonderlich gut, nein, eher schlecht. Viel zu schmal geschnitten, daher kommt man nicht mal rein, da nützt auch kein Zug. Das Fußbett - naja...ich frage mich, warum man das für das Geld verkaufen will oder kann? Ein Vorgänger, der gut war, warum macht man den bewußt schlecht? Waren die Jungs bei Salomon betrunken? Wenn ja, dann müssen es einige Promille gewesen sein....

Se las compré a mi marido para su aniversario y está encantadísimo. La numeración es la habitual. El talón se puede ajustar por lo que tienes un poco de margen en la talla. Cómodas y fresquitas. Dudé al hacer la compra por no tratarse de.un producto Amazon pero el suministo ha sido impecable.

Pianta stretta,molto plasticose e internamente molto alte. Il laccio di chiusura è corto e non permette un facile inserimento del piede,la freschezza non rientra nelle qualità della scarpa e infine la linguetta posteriore è troppo cedevole rendendola inutile per il trekking. Personalmente non mi sento di consigliarla

Scarpa fresca, da portarsi con calze! Comoda da campeggio perchè ha il calcagno abbattibile (come le vecchie Techamphibian) e si possono usare come ciabatte a calzata rapida! Suola resistente anche se non hanno una buona tenuta sul bagnato liscio (problema delle ultra gtx). Un ibrido per passeggiate, ma anche uso in città quando fa caldo. Non non adatte al trekking impegnativo, sabbia, acqua!
