I was worried that this lighter weight came wouldn't work as well with it. Does it come with this strap?** A: Yes. I bought the rose-pattern cane and it came with a black strap, with Velcro, to keep the cane in a folded position. It also comes with a black bag/pouch to travel with and/or store in a purse, etc. in a folded position. **Q: is there button to press for opening the cane** A: No, it does not has the press button to fold or unfold the cane. It is easy to fold or unfold for daily use. It is easy to fold and has a small black bag for easy storage. You can also easily change the height adjustments. This little cane is not only sturdy but comes in a variety of colors. I purchased this for an upcoming trip to Alaska as a "just in case" necessity and just knowing that I have it if needed has completely put my mind at ease.
