Awesome Experience for Young & Wise!!
Soooo much fun , oh my! Had grandma's & 4 y/o grandson's undivided attention! He was a much better driver because the cars required a lot of maneuvering & "quick " thinking. I bought this for him because he loves playing rough & CRASHING his cars causing a lot of noise in addition to his personal sound effects. His parents have put him in "time out " after repeated request to keep the noise down. This would crush grandma 's heart, after all...boys will be boys right? So when I saw these bumper cars I was e's static. These cars are designed to be bumped & crashed with minimal noise compared to cars not meant to be crashed. Bumping each other's car by remote control helps with noise reduction. A great thinking challenge for the young & wise (old). This is helping him learn how to be competitive without getting angry when he loses. His lack of competitive spirit has been a problem @ his pre- school & playing in general with his friends. A good way to work on this issue in the privacy of your home. Yes he began to show his anger after I started to get the hang of driving the cars & beat him a few times. Also, has been a great way to get in some father/son (daughter) or mother /daughter (son) quality time together! These bumper cars will bring out the kid in all of us "wise" people! This was a gift tailored made for my rugged grand baby. The bumper cars delivered their promise, endless fun!

lots of fun
I bought one set for grandkids in New Mexico, ages 5 and 7, and they love them. So I bought another set for my 4yr. old grandson that I happened to spend new years with and we all had fun with them. They worked well right from the start. They are pretty fast and the pop out drivers were a huge success. Easy enough for young ones to drive even if they have a challenge hitting the button to pop out driver. The adults had a good time with these too. The adults have more skill to avoid getting thier driver popped out and also to aim for the buttons, so it made it great fun for any age. The cars are very solid. This is not cheap plastic, but a well made toy.

One more example of cheap, plastic junk
Purchased this because it looked like great fun for a 7 yr. old boy. It was very fun until it broke. Company replaced the toy since we had the receipt and it was within a month of purchase. The batteries run out very quickly and so it almost never gets played with. It has been sitting in a closet for about two years and I'm ready to put it in the give-away box. All the remote toys we've ever purchased are a waste of money. They are engaging for a very short period of time even when they do work. What have been worth purchasing are toys with building/imaginative play components: Legos, Quadrilla sets, Snap Circuits, K'nex.

Product review
The cars were great and the kids loved the idea but.....the orange remote did not work with the orange car so I had to send it back and you were out of stock so I had to order a different one from another company. The only other complaint I have is it uses alot of batteries. I'm looking forward to geting the new ones and I think it will be great fun for the kids and also the adults. I would reccommend this product.

disappointed
I was really disappointed to find that these toys were not in good working condition when opened on christmas morning. Their were two bump and chuck cars with men inside each one. The man is supposed to fly out when the button on the side of the car is pushed. However, my children were unable to even use them because only one bumper was working. The orange bump and chuck car refused to move even when brand new batteries were used. I followed all instructions in manual to a T. Now I have toys that are unusable and unable to return because I did my christmas shopping early this year. 30 day limit. I feel that this could have been a wonderful and fun toy for my children to play with, unfortunately it seems that the quality was poor.

Great toy... but worked only for 5 minutes!
I got these cars for my twin boys who are 4 years old. They were SO excited to open these up for the first night of Hannukah! I put in the batteries and they started playing right away. Really cute... you try to hit the other "car" and then a little man pops out. The kids (and I) loved it. After about 5 or 10 minutes, though, the blue remote stopped working. I changed the batteries (even though I had just put new ones in). I took the batteries out of all the cars and then put them back in. Nothing... Then suddenly, it worked again for another 15 minutes. And again, the blue remote stopped working. I was so upset! I called and left a message for the manufacturer. They called me promptly the next day and said that sometimes the batteries are a drop too small and then it loses the connection. Didn't make much sense (aren't batteries all the same size??) She said she would send me another remote, but couldn't send until after the new year. So it's been 3 weeks so far and no new remote... sigh... I hope it comes soon and that it actually works when it arrives.

So. Much. Fun.
These are SO MUCH FUN! My sons are 1.5 and 3.5 years old and they can play together or with us. Not sure they quite have the skills to hit the bumper area consistently- but then neither do I. It takes some learning to figure it out but it's a LOT of fun to make the little guys POP out of the bumper cars whenever the button gets hit. Or you can get impatient, if you're 1.5 years old, and just hit the button by hand. Your choice.Even without the guys popping out, these are a ton of fun to zip around. They go best/fastest on hardwood floors, but they will move on carpet too. Here's a video of my kids enjoying these: https://youtu.be/U0h01zgd_3c As you can tell, they're a huge hit.Only problem is that if you have young kids you'll need to help them put the guys back in. My youngest can't get him in.
