I had this book years ago but lost it. I decided that I wanted to read it again, but rather than buy a new one, went down the 'used' route. The book arrived in good time and as described, in very good condition. This book teaches you life skills which will certainly improve your self-confidence. It will show you how to take control of many situations by allowing you to do what you want to do and not feel 'obligated' to do what someone else wants you to do. There are lots of example scenarios which can be transposed to all our daily lives. I remember reading it years ago and it certainly changed my outlook on life, helping me to become more assertive, yet in a pleasant and agreeable way. Amongst other things, it will teach you how not to be fobbed off by people, and encourage you to firmly stick to your guns in certain situations. Every home should have this book!
