Does this require more frequent cleaning?** A: Yes. Not only is the waste receptacle smaller, but it also doesn't seal the way the disposable tray does. So it smells as it fills up with waste and requires regular scooping. Also, I'm noticing that the plastic tray has urine stains on it and I can't get the scent out. The disposable tray is *FAR* superior, but it's also far more expensive. It's not a perfect system. **Q: How does this compare to the Forever Litter Tray, which is no longer available?** A: It is very similar to the forever tray. I have both and am happy with both designs. **Q: I have 3 cats...do I need to keep a backup box or are ppl using this one box for 3 cats?** A: I have a friend who uses 1 box for 2 cats. So you may want to consider 2 boxes or clean the capture tray often with 1 box. If you have the option, you could try 1 box to test it out and buy a second if 1 is not sufficient. **Q: The poop tray seems small. Do you have to scoop out the poop before the litter is ready to be changed?** A: I never have but that might be a good thing to do my cat box needs to be changed every 100 uses where because she is only 1 cat she is supposed to last 2 months but for her it just doesn’t. I am not willing to scoop it out, to make the litter last longer. I try to save up with on the litter so I have a good supply.
