## Features

- WHY THIS BOVEDA: 84% RH dampens reeds for same-day rehearsals & performances. Place Boveda in a reed case to ensure woodwind reeds keep their shape for a truer tone. No more split or cracked reeds—and your reeds will last longer. Each 2.75”x2.5” packet fits in a small reed case. NATURAL INGREDIENTS. Trusted by over 3 million people to protect & maintain items at the perfect humidity level. WE GUARANTEE QUALITY! If you’re not 100% satisfied, reach out for a full refund for up to 1 year.
- HOW BOVEDA WORKS FOR WOODWINDS REEDS: Eliminates the hassle of storing reeds with a wet sponge, in a glass of water, or in your mouth! Boveda 84% RH stabilizes the humidity inside a reed case to prevent the cane from warping. If the case is too moist, it absorbs that moisture. If it's too dry, it releases small amounts of water vapor to prevent humidity fluctuations—stave off the musties.
- CHOOSE BOVEDA: Boveda's the only patented 2-way humidity control solution with 25 years of experience. Using saltwater in our humidity packs, we provide the fastest, most precise humidity control in the market for woodwind reeds. When you invest in an instrument and accessories, you want to ensure you care for them to produce optimal sound. Boveda is the only humidity solution that can do so within 24-48 hours.
- HOW TO USE: It takes seconds to protect your woodwind reeds for months with Boveda. Remove a pack from the resealable bag. DO NOT cut or open the brown humidity packet. Slip the packet into a Boveda Mini Fabric Holder (sold separately). Place it in your reed case and close the lid. BOVEDA DOES THE REST. Replace every 2 months. You'll know it's time to swap out Boveda when it becomes hard and crunchy. NEVER MIX the 84% with any other %RH.
- WHO IS BOVEDA FOR: Boveda 84% RH for day of rehearsing, performing & recording with woodwind reeds for clarinets, saxophones, oboes, bassoons, contrabassoons & English horns. Easy and precise humidity management for professional woodwind players, band and orchestra leaders, instrument techs, music teachers, hobbyists, and student musicians.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do I have to use a fabric holder with Boveda in an instrument case?**
A: YES! Always insert Boveda into a Boveda Fabric Holder before placing it in an instrument case. The fabric holder extends the life of Boveda plus acts as a liquid barrier if a pack is accidentally punctured.

**Q: Do I tear open the brown Boveda packet?**
A: NO!!! DO NOT OPEN the brown packet itself. If your Boveda arrived individually wrapped in cellophane, remove that plastic overwrap before slipping the humidity control pack into a fabric holder.

**Q: Should I use a sponge or snake with Boveda?**
A: No, do not use Boveda in the same instrument case with other humidification products, as this will reduce the Boveda’s efficiency. Ditch the sponges and hoses. No more rewetting— Boveda works automatically to balance the humidity in your case!

**Q: I live in a really humid place, so do I need Boveda in my instrument case?**
A: Yes! Boveda makes a High-Absorbency pack to protect wood instruments in extreme humidity, prevent warping and curb humidity fluctuations when you’re in a dry environment, like an airplane or air-conditioned venue.

**Q: What’s the difference between the Large and Small Starter Kits?**
A: The Large Starter Kit is the right Boveda for an acoustic guitar, large woodwind or large bowed or fretted instrument. Choose a Small Starter Kit to use Boveda with an electric guitar or bass, small woodwind or small bowed or fretted instrument.
