This is one of the best available real time clock modules available for your integrated projects. It works great with only 2 wires required for I2C communication with a host device such as an Arduino or Rasp Pi. You also need to connect two wires for power. All of the pins are labelled in the silkscreen so it's easy to setup. If you want to utilize the battery backup, you can use a regular coin cell but the circuit is designed for a LIR2032 rechargeable cell so that it can remain accurate infinitely. This module also features temperature adjustment and touts an extremely accurate precision of about one minute of error per year. One unit failed within a month. It stopped issuing interrupts, rendering it useless in my clock project. Hoping the other one lasts a bit longer. I wouldn't recommend this vendor.

It does what it is supposed to do, it is also inexpensive.  The only reason for four stars instead of five is that there is no documentation that comes with it. I am using it with an arduino nano to build a clock that displays the time on some large 7 segment displays that I built.
