1000 CD DVD Silver Aluminum Media Storage Case Mess-Free Holder Box with Sleeves no hanger

I needed something for my DVD collection as I have a huge DVD collection, and they've been in storage boxes. This is the perfect solution. What I also like is, they come with the plastic sleeves, which I have used to replace the cheap, paper ones with. All in all, I am extremely happy with this purchase and have purchased multiple ones. And am now just waiting on my last one to store the last of my DVD's in them. I highly recommend them for people with huge collections that need something sturdy to place it in.

I purchased two of these cases for all my CDs, DVD's and Blu-Ray discs. I was moving from 6-7 of the "album" style cases into these. After about 2 days of work, I finally had everything sorted out and organized into the new cases.1. The included sleeves are decent quality. You will end up with the perforated center pieces all over the place when you're done. I found you can get about 4 discs into each sleeve without too much trouble. (I'd put the main "movie" disc in the front, and all the "bonus content" discs in the back)2. The dividers are attached at the front and back only. So if your case isn't mostly full, they may shift around a bit if you move things.3. The handles are good, but the case sides are a bit thin. I store mine flat on a shelf for easy access, but if you were moving these around a lot, I'd worry about the case handles bending or ripping out of the sides.4. The included organizers and labels are kind of a waste of time. A generic set of tabs or something would be much more useful.

This case is designed to hold about 1,000 CD's when housed in paper sleeves. It differs from the other storage box sold by the same company in that it does not use the plastic sleeve hanging system; this one is designed to just have you place your CD's in paper sleves directly into the box. I have one of each: I use the version with the hanging plastic sleeves to hold music CD's, and I use this box being reviewed here) for CD's that I do not access as often, such as software CD's, voice CD's, and so on. This is really a preference issue, where you may prefer one design over the other. They are both built with good quality, and have very solid, spring-loaded handles on the ends of the box to pick up the case. The outet material looks metal, but is actually a rigid plastic painted in a silver metal paint. The latches close securely, and you can probably turn these on their sides if you don't mind messing with the occasional few disks that may fall out of place. Price wise, I would say this is a reasonable price for what you get. And, to boot, it's really the "only show in town" that can accomplish this amount of CD storage in such a (relatively) small space. (By the time you get to this amount of storage, often cases move to drawer style storage which are huge and expensive.) So, I don't hesitate in recommending these, and would have to say it is a five star product. I may even purchase a third one, as they are so useful.

Can I even tell you how amazingly wonderful this case is? I bought it hoping that it would work out well for our very large CD collection, and when we received it, I was thrilled with the whole thing.This is not one of those cases where the plastic sleeves hang from anything. Instead, the sleeves just stand up in their rows, and you can adjust the length of the rows by moving the end pieces. This particular feature is perfect if you are going to actually pick your case up and move it around anywhere as the CDs do not bounce or shift around inside the case.It comes with a supply of plastic CD sleeves as well. They are decent sleeves. Not the top of the line, but not flimsy or easily torn either. I had to buy extras of those because we have too many discs to fit into what came with the case, but I expected that I would end up buying the sleeves separately anyway.The case is a bit heavy when filled, but considering how much it holds that should not come as a surprise to anyone. It does its job, protects our CDs, and makes it easy to transport them if needed.There is also a packet of labels for the sleeves, and a set of index pages that slide into the lid so you can see at a glance what CD is where. We didn't bother filling it out, though, as it will all change as we buy more music since we sort our CDs alphabetically by artist. If you aren't going to be mixing new things in, though, and will just be putting them at the 'end of the line', this index would be quite useful.

It definitely gets the storage job done. The interior fabric is pretty delicate and is easy to scratch up and tear if you are not careful. On the other hand, the exterior is very well made.The case comes with several separators (less than 8) that will allow you to separate sections of your columns, which is great if you want to separate your media cds by category. It would have been great if the case came with at least 4-7 separators per column.The included CD sheets are also double-sided. For those of you who prefer only one-sided cd sheets this may be a negative.

This case is better than advertised. I was a little skeptical when I purchased this but those concerns were put to reset when the package arrived. The case is built out of solid materials (you can even lock it, it comes with two keys). The sleeves are nice and it's very easy to organize everything. My wife and I were able to put 1,000 CDs/DVDs inside it with no problems. This is a HUGE space saver (we live in a small one bedroom apartment). If you're looking to make room in your home and want your favorite music, games, and movies stored in a safe container, this is what you need :0)

Good case, works as expected. I'm in the process of loading it for a long road trip now, so I'll update with durability later./edit: Follow up once the case is loaded - The case works ok if it's flat. You need 2 people to move it comfortably because it's *very* flexy and feels like it'll bend at any moment.I wouldn't recommend it.

Missing disc sleeves and numbering tags

These are awesome for my CD's and DVD's. I can keep my libraries orderly and go between homes easily.

This was the perfect storage solution. Because of the large capacity the case can be heavy to carry, so plan on it staying put.

The case is pretty heavy duty. Its constructed very well. Now I can keep all my cd, blue-ray, and dvds in one location.

These storage cases are terrific - not perfect, mind you, but nice quality for the price and they do what they need to do.
