## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have a glass work kiln.  Will these show full colors if fired at 1500 degrees?**
A: I'm pretty sure the color will be pretty bright.  I usually fire up to cone 6 with a nice color.

**Q: Can this be used on dinnerware and put in dishwasher and microwave**
A: per the description on the page: "Product description
AMACO Semi-Moist Underglaze Set A contains 8 colors that includes 1.5 oz maroon, light yellow, dark blue, blue green, dark green, black, light brown and white. Concentrated, semi-moist water soluble colors in pan form comes in hinged plastic boxes. Glazes are ideal for ceramic watercolor effects and detail painting. These Non-Toxic glazes can be intermixed or thinned with water for spraying or greater transparency and also can be applied to greenware or bisque."

**Q: Do these fire to cone 10?**
A: These are wonderful underglazes and they fire best up to cone 06 or 07.  They may fade out at cone 10.  Use a zinc free clear glaze or the colors may run (especially blues).

**Q: How do these look on brown clay?**
A: I haven’t tried on dark clay, only stoneware white or buff.

I have used this product before, as well as other sets from this same manufacturer. It works great to create that water color look on ceramics.

I gave this product five stars because it was delivered on time and as they said it would be, however the product itself was returned because the lid was broken off the under glaze look like it had slightly melted and re-hardened and it was a little cracked it wasn't a good product at all maybe we just got a bad one we had hopes that it would be a great underglaze but it wasn't good at all we didn't even use it it just looks so bad and it wasn't cheap so we returned it as damaged goods
