However, after trying Bigen Beard Color because of a steep hike in price of Just For Men beard color, I realized just how much better it is. My beard is mostly white around the chin and dominated by white-grey elsewhere. I used Bigen Brown Black (102) and followed the instructions carefully; the results were incredibly effective. Unlike Just For Men, Bigen colored deeply right down to the roots, leaving no trace of white behind. The color intensity was also much stronger, while I wasn't necessarily looking for a darker black, the rich quality made my beard look much fuller. In comparison, the Just For Men shade often left a strange bluish-violet tint and failed to cover many of the white hairs. A tip for others: if you prefer more grey and less black, try a higher number like Bigen 103 or 104 and so on. The black intensity decreases as you go up, allowing more white hair to show through for a lighter grey look.
