Awesome for the money.
This remote receiver combo was really sweet. I got it because I picked up a very cheap old Nitro RC truck off a Facebook marketplace and it did not come with one I needed the extra channel so I could have a reverse and everything works great. I don't see any issues distance seems pretty good. It goes farther than sometimes. I feel comfortable letting it. But overall it's a great product for the price. I will definitely buy more. As I pick up more cheap r c is off of marketplace

Quality product and Great Customer Service!
Currently working on restoring about 4 older 1980's-1990's RC Cars/Trucks. Was looking for an inexpensive yet high quality radio/receiver for these projects. I found out about this product on a particular youtube channel and then watched quite a few more videos online to get an idea of the quality and overall consensus of the product before I decided to purchase. After seeing so many positive videos and seeing all the positive reviews online, I purchased the X4 version for a buggy since I didn't need the extra two channels and "thought" I didn't want the Gyro. Since the project car was a complete tear down and rebuild I also had a few of the electronics on order and not in my possession all at the same time. Once I had, I immediately tested the components together and all seemed to work just fine. However I hadn't run them long enough to determine any compatibility issues or other underlying problems with the setup. After finally finishing the car to a point that it was complete enough to test drive, this is where it was completely my fault for not doing this sooner. The ESC I purchased was a Horizon Hobby 60a that supports both NiMH and 2s/3s Lipo's with a very easy jumper that must be changed to allow the switch. The buggy with either a NiMH (7.2v) or a 2s/3s Lipo would run great for about 10-45 seconds with the different battery setups, then just stop working and responding to the radio. Again, I want to stress, that I waited to long to test this out, but with the successful quick tests originally I did not have any worries that this would not work.Overall, the product itself is really nice, the plastic quality is awesome, the buttons that have LED lighting are bright and responsive, the steering is super quick, the receiver is so small and practically weighs nothing and can be installed anywhere in your project! The instructions are good, though it took a while to find a video online to help me understand how to access the programming of the radio, but even so, once I did figure that out, it did not help resolve my issue.I have been in contact with customer support since I had uncovered the problem and they have been absolutely fantastic. They have done everything they can to help troubleshoot the issue as well as passed along to their technicians for their opinion. We are still working out details directly to get a properly working radio/receiver. I highly recommend this product, I am not at all upset about anything that has happened, and I truly feel the technical support is great.I still highly recommend this product and I will be buying this product for all of my 4 projects, but will be going with the X6 with the Gyro, only because having the Gyro and the added options of the channels for lights, sound kits, etc. is more enticing for me than just having the X4.So, go get yourself a great radio for the price! Their customer support team is there in the rare case that something isn't right.

Great radio, but....
These radios are great, they have a long range and many channels. BUT DON'T DROP THE REMOTE! The remotes are NOT durable at all.
