Brookstone S8 Shiatsu Massaging Seat Topper

This is the best massaging topper ever!!!! I brought this topper from Brookstone the first time that I brought it. The reason why I have to buy another is because I DID NOT take care of the topper. When I first purchased the topper I always placed the chair back in the box that it came in. Then after awhile I got comfortable and put the topper in the hall closet without the box, which was a huge mistake!!! One day I open the hall closet to get the topper out and the seat topper fell face forward down on to the balls that massages the neck, and then when I tried to plug up the topper to use it, there was no movement only the rotation sounds. I was so up set!!! This topper is so good that I have chosen to repurchase it.The topper has helped with knots in my shoulders and the knots that are in my neck under my skull. I had to use the topper at least three times a week. It helped me sleep better and was able to function through out the day without my muscles tighten up on me.

I had been researching for a massage chair topper for a while. Tried the older model S4 at a friend’s place and really liked the neck massage function. The S8 has some additional features. The neck massager works just as good on the S8. I purchased the Zyllion ZMA-14 before this since it was $80 cheaper. And the Brookstone S8 is worth the extra money. Period.Even though the actions are similar, the positioning of the S8 neck massager actually fitted around the neck better and really is able to hit the sore muscles properly.The seat itself is somewhat narrow (narrower comparing to the Zyllion). And being that the S8 is bulkier, I couldn’t really use this on my office chair, which I could with the Zyllion. The S8 really is more meant to be placed on a sofa or bed I think.

This device should be a five star device, however if you don't figure out to adjust your body in certain positions this massager really hurt you. You constantly have to readjust your body for every segment and once you do this it is pretty good. More directions should be given on this device or it need to have modifications done to it. Like I said this should be a five star device but because it take a lot of figuring out you will most likely want to send it back like i almost did.

Stopped working after 6-weeks. I am hoping they honor their warranty. Otherwise, this is a great product. I expected this to last longer than 6-weeks.

Broke after a few uses - they won't take it back because it's over the time limit - I wish I took it out of the box sooner. Now expensive trash.

This unit is quite compact but powerful. We installed the seat topper on top of a rocking chair. The neck shiatsu is quite powerful that you wish you could slow it down a little. The air compression at the lower part is quite nice. This is the best seat topper we ever had.

Great product and does what it claims. It has setting for almost any strength and position for neck, back and bottom.

I am pleased with this purchase. It appears to be well made and substantial. I have had this product for about 6 weeks, and so far it's been great.
