July 4th 2020 and 2021 was a nightmare because the fireworks went beyond the holiday. This year I had to really prep to somehow help my dog get some relief. I found a combination of several tactics helped make this July 4th 2022 pass easier. I used Licks in combination with another calming supplement plus I prepped the environment (living room) by having the A/C running, tv on, and covered my windows and doorways with heavy blankets to buffer any sounds. All this effort paid off. Licks on its own helps a little for thunderstorms and it takes a full packet given at least a half hour before a storm. Giving it to him at the right time is the hard part because he’s finicky and you can’t predict Mother Nature 100%. I’m adding behavior modification which is a work in progress. I will buy again for next year.
