It’s nice and loud and super lightweight. I bought another cheaper version at another store years ago, and you can barely hear it. I am so happy the online description and video is true. We use it on the cat, on her collar. Sometimes we can’t find her in the house or outside the house… and we get nervous. It was a perfect solution, because now, we can hear the device at quite a distance, and find her right away. This has so paid for itself the first time she snuck into the garage and I couldn’t find her. I pressed the button and heard it beeping, and rescued my sweet baby. She was upset she got locked in the garage by accident. We only press the alarm in emergencies. So she knows she needs to come home if she sneaks out accidentally. Despite our best efforts to keep her in her catio. It may look a little big, but it’s super light weight and it doesn’t seems to bother her.
