## Description

Free up your hands and secure and protect your soldering projects with Weller's Helping Hands with 4 Magnetic Arms. Enjoy adjustable and flexible positions with magnetic gooseneck arms with alligator clamps that are easily positionable for multiple configurations.

Review: This thing is great - I don't solder all the time, but I make cable assemblies from time to time. This is better than any helping hands tool I've used since the arms can be moved anywhere and they're very configurable. I'm sure it'll last a lifetime, otherwise I would buy it again. One minor complaint is that mine came in the manufacturer's box with just shipping labels and tape; I wish it came in an outer box because I plan to keep it in this box for storage.
Review: Strong magnets and solid grip - Holds boards snug in place for soldering. Makes the process much much easier

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What country is it made in?**
A: Made in China.

**Q: Is this any different from the one sold at harbor freight? it looks pretty much identical, but more $. just looking for quality.**
A: I bought mine together, with my 40 watt Weller soldering station, like you I was looking for quality, in a good soldering gun/station. Since they were both Weller brand, and everything together for $50 $60 ,(I can't remember), I jumped on it. I love the entire weller set up I bought. Not sure if your just interested in the helping hands only, if so, I don't know the quality of the harbor freight, sorry.

**Q: Does the magnifier have magnets at the base? Thanks!**
A: I didn’t ever know about any magnets, so I just took a close look at mine, and didn’t see any, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any. Not sure why you would want magnets, your wire, and whatever else you’re soldering the wire to, is meant to be held by the 2 alligator clips.

**Q: How much weight will it hold? I'm thinking of small branches and flowers.**
A: I don’t have the 4 clip magnetic holder, I have the little one called the magnifier helping hands. That 4 clip magnetic one does look pretty cool though. I would only use it for holding, wires, or electrical terminals, that I pre-tinned, then solder those pieces together, while one hand is holding my soldering iron, and the other is holding a roll of solder. According to your question, I’m not sure what your thinking, this thing isn’t that big. Those 4 arms would probably hold a branch that was only 1/4” thick, not very long, and not very heavy. Maybe each clip would hold 1 single long stemmed rose, without collapsing for sure, but these things really aren’t that big for tree branches. You must be mistaken about the size.
