**Q: Do you have to use the trackball or will the cursor respond to mouse movement?**
A: If I understand you correctly. The mouse itself is stationary. This is a trackball mouse. The soul use of this is spinning the ball to move the cursor. I am unsure of any hybrid mice with the features you describe tho it made me wonder myself. You can always keep a regular one plugged in next to it.

**Q: Any right handers using it to relieve carpel tunnel and repetitive stress injuries in the right hand (by switching to the left)? If so, feedback??**
A: Been using the Logitech m570 on right hand + standard Logitech wireless mouse on left hand for years. It's helped a lot with wrist pain. Finally decided to try this Elecom left handed trackball as it doesn't seem like Logitech has any intention of making a left handed m570. Might get the right handed Elecom eventually as well.

**Q: what size batteries does it use ?**
A: AA battery × 1 required.

**Q: Will this mouse work with windows 10?**
A: Yes it works great with Windows 10 still having a problem right  scroll wheel 2 move across a row in Excel 2013 worksheet sheet. Very smooth Mouse
