I was using the Sony headphone output for the RS175, but somehow got dropouts as of recently and was no longer satisfied with the sound.After reading the reviews and that this specific (passive) splitter might not work, I was a bit concerned.However, I can gladly report that it works fine and was very easy to install. Plugging the cables in might take a bit more effort than usual, but they sit tight, and the sound quality on my headphones is now much better. I ordered a 2m BlueRigger TOSLINK cable at the same time and am very happy.Thank God I did not to have to buy a powered one, as I am running out of sockets. ;-)Can recommend.
