**Q: Do the gears come off easily?  Doesn't that make operating them difficult for little ones?**
A: Yes, they come off easily, and no does not make it difficult.  It is really cute, and they can spin all the gears around.  Not a toy you can carry around, cause gears will fall off, but it is great fun.  My grandaugher loves it.  Great for learning colors too.

**Q: What age is it for?**
A: It says 18 months but I think 12 months. I got it for my granddaughter at a younger age, she likes to see it turn but is most interested in taking the gears off and then chewing on them.

**Q: Does this contain formaldehyde?**
A: It certainly does not. Melissa and Doug toys are safe and very high quality.

**Q: what are measurements?**
A: The gears have a 2.5” diameter, the board is about 3.25” across. It’s a nice size, but not too big for little kids to handle.
