Runs smooth even with alot of tabs open
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Rite so the reason I went with acePC over other brands was cos they were the best seller in mini PCs and after testing I found theres a good reason for that . Plugged in the PC. Everything was smooth . Set it up in less than 3 minutes. And the main test for me was to use it on alot of tabs without ot being slow . And it passed that test with flying colours I share the screen with other people from work while I'm working and it runs smooth as hell so overall for the process I'm delighted

Brilliant value and incredibly versatile.
I originally bough this to stream movies to my smart TV, but I have now started using it as my main desktop as the performance is just what I need.My overpowered desktop was a resource hog so this is just what I need - small enough to fit on a shelf by the tv, quiet and uses much less power. The ability to add a 2.5inch SATA drive into the supplied enclosure is a brilliant idea - I have placed an old 1TB drive in there as my program installation drive (with cloud storage for my pictures and documents). The performance is brilliant for my needs - it handles picture editing software fine and enables me to even do some limited editing.Video playback is impressive too with mp4 files playing really well.Connectivity is spot on too - built in wifi(dual band) and bluetooth, along with 4 USB sockets (2 of them USB3) and a USBC slot.Add to that LAN, HDMI, micro SD and audio and you have a seriously useful piec of kit - with a nice blue glow! The PC runs extremely quietly and would suit a small room, smart TV installation or relatively simple needs desktop - I run the Office suite on it with no issues at all! When you update Win 10 you get some really cool features and with it being full Windows, you can remote desktop onto it from your phone. For a media streamer, its brilliant - for a desktop replacement, you could do alot worse, especially as you can pick the whole thing up and take it on holiday with you!

Great little Windows MiniPC for 4k video playback
Item arrived next day, in boxed and excellent condition. All accessories included, came with Windows 10 Pro as described and works without problems so far.I like the design a lot and it was one of the main reasons I opted for this instead of other comparative products and it certainly delivers. At the moment, as I don't have need for the second module that adds more storage capacity, I'm only using the main module and it looks pretty sleek. The most important reason for my purchase, was the Windows OS. As an owner of an Android TV box that was also used for multimedia, I found its performance quite unsatisfactory in handling high bitrate files and the browser experience quite subpar. In terms of specs, Intel Celeron may not sound particularly impressive, but it can handle the Jellyfish 4k HDR 10bit HEVC 400mbps bitrate test video without issues/stuttering when using Kodi (CPU utilisation <40% in videos tested). That's their highest bitrate video file available, so I'm pretty sure that this system will be able to provide quality multimedia entertainment for quite some time.Browser experience is of course miles better than anything a mobile OS can provide, as you can install the full-fledged Opera (fits quite well with the hardware) and surf the web majestically in its full glory.Small caveat, the system can get noisy when booting and when multitasking hard with multiple browser windows, videos running in the background and streaming, which is what I did initially when setting it up and testing it. Nothing too extreme though and when playing just videos with Kodi, the system gets into a drone level sound that you can't hear from half a meter away or goes completely silent.I opted for the cheapest base model with the 4gb ram and 64gb EMMC storage, as my MO is usually to connect viq USB3 either a hard drive or an optical blu-ray drive and play movies from there, and I'm pretty good for now. In the future, there is always the option to install an mSata drive inside the main module and clone the OS from the original EMMC drive to the new mSATA drive which will more than double READ/WRITE speeds. Plus, you can also add a regular 2,5 storage drive in the expansion module for even more storage space. After booting, from the 4gb of ram, there is usually 30-50%, which is good enough, as I'm running a Rainmeter skin, RocketDock and Bitdefender Free which alone takes about 280mb. With WIndows Defender instead and less customisation than me, you may get even less RAM usage. So, in conclusion, this little machine is definitely recommended as a media player and for the price it offers very good value!

Good for my day to day computer needs
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought it mainly for media streming (video and music) and basic daily computer nepceds. It has worked beyond my expectations thinking it was just a Mini PCSome of the nice features I found out were:1. I managed to set it up in a few minutes.2. It runs smooth even with a lot of tabs open.3. Quiet when running compare to my old desktop.4. It is easy to be placed anywhere. It comes with a support to attach it to the back of a screen or on the Wall. I was looking for something it didn't take lots of space on the desk.5. Lots of conectors for your main devices (USB, USBC, LAN, HDMI and audio) built in wifi(dual band) and bluetooth. You can plug multiple devices on it.6. It is very light weight and small, so you can take it with you during weekends out or even on holidays.7. It can be used for light gaming, not for highly demanded specs games though.Overall I can say it has been a great addition to my household.

Works for me but not as shipped
Tried to use on Windows 10 but locked up when doing an upgrade. I put Debian ( you need to use the mixed mode 32bit UEFI and 64 bit software and it works great. For Linux fans most distro do not have this mixed mode and will need work around, but Debian stretch installer worked straight of the USB stick. The run off a usb stick version does not work as this uses a legacy install.Windows 10 is way too big and bloated for the internal disk. Others have moved it to the add in harddisk, but this is a USB connection and is better for using as a data disk. Very happy with it as a small low cost linux media player.
