Brill 15 in. Razorcut Reel Lawn Mower

I just received my Brill Lawn Mower yesterday and put it to the test this morning! Wow!! This baby rocks! I have a downslope in the backyard that drops to a lagoon. I cannot use my riding lawn mower (too steep) and my old push mower is dead. I tried trimming with a weedwacker, but got attacked by fire ants and somehow threw the weedwacker into the lagoon! I thought I would give this type of mower a try and soooo glad I did! It took about 5 minutes to put together. It has a little bit of weight to it, but easy enough for me to pick up and transport. It is built very well, the blades cut like a dream, and changing height of carriage is so simple. It is quite peaceful when pushing around the yard (great exercise). It's NOT made in China! Woot! My husband is always trying to hire someone to do the yard for me/us, but I truly enjoy yard work and even more now with this amazing mower!I had so much fun cutting the downslope...I did the entire back yard. Glad I took a chance and purchased this Brill! Awesome product!!!

This is a decent machine, light, very quiet and easy to put together. The one problem I have with it, is you need to go over the lawn at least three times to get the grass cut and thats right out of the box, so it has nothing to do with it being sharp. Thank my lucky stars it is light and our lawn is small. The process is great for a mini work out!

Easy to push, cuts like nothing I've ever seen before (much better than the cheap Scott's mower I had). It IS pricey, to be sure, but well worth the $$ in my opinion. It is also pretty light. Excellent for a small lawn.

Very pleased with both product and delivery.

This mower cuts well but thick grass will clog the blades, as well as small twigs. I have not yet managed to change the mower height.

Worked well on level surfaces. Not so well on hills or uneven terrain.

It can be adjusted to different levels and is easy to push. Have used it for 2 yrs to mow the dogs area, several times/wk.

habe das Gerät 2 Jahre in Betrieb, erste Saison alles wunderbar, danach war nicht mehr schneiden sondern rupfen angesagt. Nach 1 Saison bei 120 m² Rasenfläche Messer stumpf, ist mir zu schnell. Habe mir den von Gardena gekauft, Verarbeitungsqualität und Materialanmutung bei gleichen Preis um Klassen besser.
