Terrific support!
The belt really made all the difference. It helped distribute my sons weight and also allowed better support!

The bar has to be EXACTLY the right height for this to be functional at all. It make the rider not adjustable, and for us, it just meant there was some velcro flapping around the adult's backside.

Essential to have for comfortable walks
The piggyback rider is really surfen for the little kids to rest and they really like the standing position. But without the hip support it is pretty heavy so in my opinion the best way to use the rider is with the hip support so not all the weight is on your shoulders.

Essential to your comfort.
Without this, the bar they stand on will dig into your hips. Also, it helps distribute their weight more evenly across your hips and back.

Does not work well
This and the other product that connects to it don’t work very well. The bar flips and the kid falls off, but there are strapped to you so they don’t fall. Had to return and get refunded. All of that went well. Was so disappointed.

Overall great addition to the standard carrier but poor implementation.
This could have been exactly what was needed, properly dividing the weight between your hips/shoulders - however the implementation leaves something to be desired. The main cause of malfunction is the Velcro straps used to attach the foot bar are constantly coming undone, causing the bar [and child with it] to fall down, which causes a sudden shifting in weight from your hips to you shoulders. I can only imagine how disconcerting this would be if you were hiking at a incline.Additionally there is only 1 position you can secure the bar at, with no adjustments. So if you have a taller child, this places him/her higher up above you. which means tweaking the safety harness.Overall great addition to the standard carrier but poor implementation.
