Best progressive readers ever! VERY light!
I have gone through so many readers I've lost count. I prefer the progressive lens for the reasons sited in every description, so I won't get into that. The #1 thing I love about these is how light they are! I have several Foster Grant progressive readers, and two things I hate is that they are HEAVY and leave big red marks on my nose, and they distort the image on the sides of my view (not a big deal, but worth noting). These readers from SightLine are EXACTLY what I was looking for! Light, no distortion, classy, and very "unassuming". I bought three of them and will toss out all my readers and buy more and the leave them throughout the house, in my cars, in my office, and in my home office. Sure, you can buy a set of five "cheapos" for a lot less, but when you're wearing them all day long, you need comfort and a good lens...these meet all my criteria.

Get rid of all your fixed-focus reading glasses!
I have been wearing reading/computer glasses for several years and like most adults my age, the magnification has increased over time.I have a pile of 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 readers I picked up along the way ... none of which are useful anymore. What I really like about these glasses is that they smoothly transition from one focal length to another and I can easily go from standing at a computer workstation to reading/writing to looking across a room and never lose focus. At first, I found that the need to incline my head slightly differently as a changed view a little weird. Now it's just a natural action.

Best glasses I have ever owned!
I have had reading glasses for over 40 years. First, just readers; distance fine. Just need them to read. My prescription glasses had clear tops with readers on bottom. In my later years, I have needed slight magnification in top in addition to stronger reading section. I tried prescription progress (multi-focal) and hated them; too hard to find focus in any position and things looked "wavy". Current prescription is pure bi-focal (non-progressive). Thought that I would try these and am glad that I did. These are the best glasses I have ever owned! Period! Only time will tell durability.

Some of the best glasses for jobs where you're using big monitors from longer distances.
I usually use 1.25 magnification, but based on some of the reviews went up to a 1.5 and the first day of using them I'm sold on these. Most of my day is spent using two large monitors so my field of vision is pretty wide. But, there was absolutely no perceptible distortion through the lenses. These allow you to use larger monitors from 1" - 4" feet away, bringing things more into focus, as well as closer range looking down through the bottom part of the lens.If you are wavering on the strength to get, you might want to "upsize" one. These are great reading glasses, I hope this company comes out with more styles.

Easily scratched lenses and non durable frames
I bought a pair of these based on the manufacturers claims of durability. I use them for computer bench repair but mostly for reading. Unfortunately the lenses are made of soft plastic that scratches fast rendering them unusable in a matter of just a few weeks. The scratches did not result from abuse but just from sliding them in and out of my shirt pocket. They are not very durable and one must gently clean the lenses otherwise they will pop out of the frames. Definitely overpriced for the poor quality. Amazon kindly refunded my purchase.

Multifocal Computer Reading Glasses 6002 Semi-Rimless - EXCELLENT!
These were the first multi-focal readers that I have tried. For me, they are a definite improvement over ordinary reading glasses because I work at a computer all day and also must read documents at the same time. My readers were fine for reading documents but when looking up at the screen, it was not very clear. The multi-focal readers solved the problem. I bought the Multifocal Computer Reading Glasses 6002 Semi-Rimless in gunmetal. They are reasonably sturdy and I can recommend them. I probably will experiment with other multi-focal readers to find out which ones work best and look best for me but these are definitely in the running for the ones that I will use from now own. My eye doctor suggested that I purchase custom "progressive" readers (from her of course). While these are not exactly progressive, they are the next thing to it and WAY cheaper than designer frames and custom lenses.

Perfect for me
These glasses are perfect for me. The bows are long enough to actually fit over my ears which is a change for me.I generally buy multiple pairs with different strength at the $1 store and have them laying all over the place. Now I can wear these for anything I'm doing and see great-even at a distance. I suspect some of the more negative reviews are because of people ordering the wrong strength for their needs. I tried out various strengths of Foster Grants at Walgreen's to find the proper strength for me and then ordered these. I found that the Foster Grant were too heavy for me and the frames didn't have springs in them like these do which squeezed my head. The lens have an anti-reflective coating on them which is great. All in all, I love them. Now I can work in shop on my projects and look away without removing the glasses.

These are absolutely GREAT. Been wearing prescription no line bifocals for years ...
These are absolutely GREAT. Been wearing prescription no line bifocals for years and wanted an alternative to the high priced glasses that I had been wearing. I tried a few pairs of another brand at the drug store to see exactly what power I needed. I didn't like any of thr styles at the drug store. I saw these and read the reviews and ordered a pair. I now have a couple pairs of these and they are great. The are extremely hard the scratch and I'm not allergeic to the frames. I used to order titanium frames because any other type of metal would break me out. I wish they offered them in sunglasses. Going to order a couple more pairs for spares. Oh yeah, I can see very well with these. Close up, on the computer, tv driving, my vision is very good.
