Works but confussing
It got the job done but was very confusing. If I were to do it again I think I'd pay Crutchfield to build a harness for my vehicle.

Installed in 2013 Prius
I'm very grateful for this device. It has helped me to retain factory buttons as well as allowed me to interface with the car to change settings in the car that I really wanted to adjust for the longest whileFor example: Through my Pioneer 4500NEX I was able to use this module to adjust the sensitivity of my lights, raise/lower the volume of the beep of the car, see live vehicle data (like RPMs) and much, much more.ONE QUICK THING for international buyers...This doesn't have the wiring necessary for plug and play with the reverse wire, rear camera and speed pulse. You'll need to cut and wire that separately.

Amazing!
This worked great in my 2010 Toyota Tundra with the JBL premium sound system. The instructions were easy to follow. Once you get the factory stereo out it's easy to see which factory wiring harnesses will be used with the aftermarket radio. My steering wheel controls work fantastic with my Pioneer head unit and the sound is very nice. Just a note on the pioneer head units: you don't need to use the steering wheel control wire that comes with the maestro. The main plug that connects to the head unit is all you need to get your steering wheel controls working.

iDatalink exceeded my expectations! Wish they supported some older models.
Doesn't get any better than this - once I figured out which instructions to use (found similar but different instructions for my vehicle - be sure you have the correct version of the instructions). This is so much better than using two different harnesses to provide steering wheel and factory wiring integration. Also, the OBD connector is cool to see some of my car diagnostics. I only wish my 4runner was a newer model as I think I would get even more vehicle information. iDatalink customer service in Canada gets 5-stars because they were awesome in helping me identify what model I needed for my vehicle (it said 2006 4runner and newer, but I suspected it would work fine for my 2005 and they researched and confirmed this for me). Nice job iDatalink!!!Notes: Not for the novice installer; Seller "Stereo Needs" delivered late, and didn't include the Air-Freshener as advertised.

Good idea, Horrible product
I purchased this item a couple of months back and it seemed like a great idea. An interface that would incorporate my steering controls plus add some additional functions to my radio. Let me start with the good/cool things about the maestro. The program-ability is awesome. You can customize your steering wheel buttons to how you would like them to function and add secondary functions to the buttons. The instructions are pretty straight forward and easy to install. I had to call customer service at one point and they were of excellent help. ***The BAD. I've had nothing but trouble with the interface. The sound will move around in the speakers. All of the speaker will be playing then all of a sudden only the from speakers work. When I turn my truck on the steering wheel control work perfectly fine but if I touch the radio unit i.e. adjust the volume or change station, my steering wheel controls will stop working. I've verified everything is connected correctly. I'm out of ideas. If I get a fix I might consider changing my review but in the mean time it's not a good product.

Does what it's supposed to do
After programming your RR an adobe instruction manual is provided with wiring diagram. Verify if you need the TO1 or TO2.
R**.
Great option to maintain original car commands.
Works as advertised. Give a range of options in regards to functionality and configuration. Steering wheel controls work flawlessly and no lag at all in response.
