I've been looking for a setup like this for quite a while and have seen this particular item for sale for as much as $300-$600. I paid $140 but I think that may even be a little steep for the quality of the 'boombox' (politically correct name for "ghetto blaster'). The speaker grill was dented when it arrived but you can hardly notice it. I've only had it for a week and one of the EQ lights already quit working. The volume control knob is touchy and there isn't even a volume control on the remote. The sound quality is mediocre but fiddling with the EQ and presets can help much. It gets loud. I do enjoy the look of it sitting in the kitchen. It makes me feel a bit nostalgic and is a conversation starter. If you're just looking for BT speakers or a radio, there are better choices for sure. This one is a bout style.

Treat this like a baby, cool product but cheaply made
The sound is awesome! But I was warned by a friend that the blaster was cheaply made and his broke. Mine was only working on the right speaker, it didn't last a week. Cool product! But not sturdy at all, feels very cheap like it's going to break at anytime.

This boombox is WAAAAAY better than the original TR931 model! The fact that music is played digitally certainly helps. The bass and tremble knock hard on volume level 23 and it goes up to 40. I would recommend using the Bluetooth function opposed to the media ports simple because, it's just easier and there's no full instructions on how to use the folder options or what format the extended media supports. I got the travel bag and because it's white and that's how I'd like it to stay. I recommend calling Lasonic and buying one! For the nostalgic feeling, this is the move and it shows that you have some edge! If you are looking for the greatest in wireless sound modules. Then I say go pay that 3 or $400 on it. Because this isn't for you.PS: If you get you a decent 7" android tablet and download Jet Audio (premium of course) the KNOCK FEST would be INSANE!!!!
