Premier Feather Tether Bird Harness and Leash

Fit perfectly on the parrot. Excellent.

Size L is supposed to be 750-1800 grams. Well my Camelot is 950g and Large was way to small:/

I only have one complaint it said it was for a conure on ur site but on the product it's for larger birds

It came with different instructions depending on how you decide to use it. You can use it like a leash where your bird can walk around (like a dog) OR you can put it on to where the leash sits on the front (if you want your bird to sit on your shoulder). I think I made the mistake of getting the green one for my Gonzo. He's a white bellied caique and loves being scratched under his wings and having his belly rubbed but he hated this thing. I planned on putting it on to where the leash would sit in the front. We tried introducing it to him slowly. We even left it near his cage so he'd get used to seeing it but he must think it's a snake or something cause he doesn't go near it and if we show it to him he goes to bite it :(

I really wanted to love this harness, as my friend's macaw wears one, and it's great. Unfortunately, in the smaller size (Goffin's cockatoo) there is nothing connecting the two back straps (by the leash attachment) so when the leash pulls on the harness, it pulls on the neck area only, and it can slide easily enough that the bird's neck can become trapped if the body part catches on something and loosens. My cockatoo was very gracious about me putting it on, but when it came to tightening it, he hated it. He then got his beak under the neck loop and took the whole thing off.

this is not the best harness I have seen it choked my bird and he was very scared.

The direction are a little confusing but I feel will work great when I can get it on her. She doesn't like it but we are working on this.I will update as times goes by. The product is just as the seller said it is.
