It provides enough coverage, not total coverage, but enough to make it look more like a medium brown highlight vs. a stark white streak. It does seem to fade out over the course of the day, but not completely. I wear my hair in a bun for work, so don't touch it and it doesn't move. I also don't use any products like hairspray. By the next day it is basically completely out. It doesn't come out on my pillowcase, thankfully. And washes out completely when I wash my hair. Best thing about this product is it does not show on the skin. So when I apply, if I get some on my forehead or scalp, it doesn't seem to adhere or stain, so no skin discoloration where applied.
