The pot raises the holes,in the bottom off the saucer. So the plant can not wick the water back off the saucer. Plus the bottoms not flat. Which when repoting make it hard to not leave voids at the bottom of the root system. I would return these but I'm outside my return window.

These planters were just what I was looking for and would have been great if they had all arrived intact. I ordered two packages of six and there were broken units in each package. 25% broken from a total of twelve ordered. I don’t know if the planters were made too cheaply or the plastic bag they were shipped in was just not enough protection. Will probably look for a different planter next time.

It was nice to have different sized pots, but half of them arrived broken on the bottom. They have an incredibly strong plastic smell as well. The pots that weren't broken worked well enough. I wouldn't buy again-next time I would buy as needed at a greenhouse/Home Depot.

The media could not be loaded.  I haven't actually potted my plants in one of these yet, as I'm writing this just after opening. They arrived in a stacked set. The top two have a massive chip on one side, as you can see in the photo. The edges are sharp. I would blame the box it came in, however the shards are not in the box, so these were chipped before they were shipped in the box. The box had no padding or anything, which would be fine as these feel extremely durable. They are thick plastic, perfect for my needs. The bottom is raised, so don't plan on these being good for soaking water from a tray. I added a video for size and to show how they come packaged. They come taped together but I removed the tape to see them clearly.

These pots are excellent, they are thick plastic with awesome drainage. They are slightly taller than an average nursery pot in case you plan on putting them inside of decorative pots (shown in photo) but I can live with that because they are so much nicer than the nursery pots the plants come in.

Are you kidding me? This is the first thing that I am returning due to unable to unwrap the package.opened the package and found the rim of the top pot is cracked! when trying to take the pots apart, but they packed so tight, I am unable to bring them apart. I realized that the top broke pot was due to the previous buyer broke it when trying to take them apart.return both of my orders.use a online frustum volume calculator and found out the maximum volume of this pot is 0.65 gallon, not the one gallon it advertised!it looks and feels like a solid durable pot, but bad packaging and false advertisement.

These are substantial pots, not at all flimsy. I bought them to fit into ceramic pots that I bought with no holes in the bottom. They fit pretty well - much better than anything else I tried. I am very pleased with the fit and the weight of the pot. They are not fancy, but perfect for this purpose.

Just like the plastic pots you find in nurseries or garden stores. Will last a few seasons if you are careful with them. Adequately sturdy for potting up plants and great for gift plants. Just what you want for potting up seedlings to grow on before planting in the garden or final containers.
