So is 5-00 better at coverage** A: I have used these Igora hair products for several years for covering gray. I have found no difference in the 2 products (5-0 and 5-00). They cover my gray hair better than any other product I have tried. I must also admit that I leave the product on my hair long than indicated on the package (about 45 minutes) to improve the longevity of the color. My hair is coarse and thick and all products seems to take longer to absorb. I also use the Igora Developer. I'm pleased to report that the beautiful chestnut brown color is not only still there after two weeks and many washes, it has covered up all those pesky grays too!My thoughts: The Igora line assuredly does contain the more harmful ingredients.
