## Overview

ROBERTS 2057-0 Vinyl Adhesive is a premium, solvent-free, water-based adhesive designed for vinyl composition tile installations. Featuring quick drying under 24 hours, strong bonding to multiple substrates including concrete and plywood, and enhanced with Microban antimicrobial protection, it ensures a clean, durable, and odor-free finish. Its clear drying formula maintains chalk line visibility for precise application, making it the go-to choice for professional-grade flooring projects.

## Description

ROBERTS 2057 Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) Adhesive is a clear, solvent-free, water-based, thin-spread adhesive that provides excellent grab and high residual tack. This superior grade adhesive brushes, rolls or trowels on and helps hold tiles firmly in place, even when subjected to repeated cleaning and mopping. When spread thinly as instructed, the adhesive dries correctly and turns clear, allowing chalk lines to remain visible. This adhesive is also suitable for installing vinyl-composition or vinyl-asphalt tile over existing vinyl-composition or vinyl-asphalt subfloors that are free from waxes, sealers and finishes.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Anyone know how to get this crap off the floor if your kid manages to step in it??????**
A: Thank you for your inquiry. Here is an effective removal technique for Roberts 2057 from finished surfaces (wood, laminate, tile, etc.): Massage Dawn Dish Detergent onto the affected area (no water needed). Agitate with a soft bristle brush in a circular motion to break down the adhesive. Once the adhesive is dissolved, wipe away residue with a damp cloth. I hope this information is useful. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact technical services.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for your money
*by K***Y on 3 March 2026*

Very messy and sticky but washes off your hands with the Fast Orange, takes it off with a little scrubbing. Seems to be working good, laying peel and stick vinyl tile and so far they are staying in place.
