It stays in place even as you walk around & bend over. Stays warm longer than any other hot pack I have tried (approx 15-20 min). It's so comfortable, you will forget it's there.

It also stays cold the longest and is able to target my pain areas, especially in my shoulder. I don't even need anything to hold it there just sits wrapped in a pillowcase because it's the perfect size it stays put.
