This review is for both the quality of the tent, but more importantly for the terrible customer service from this seller (OMNIHOP).I have been a Eureka fan for decades! For the past 15 years I have been using one of their older model screen tents. It lasted so long because the poles were extremely thick aluminum (warranted, making it a heavy tent to carry around), and the fabric itself was heavy, waterproof, and not easily sun bleached. After 15 years of use it was time for a replacement, so I did not hesitate to order Eureka’s new model of screen tent.My first mistake was not ordering it directly from Eureka. Their customer service is fantastic! Unfortunately, that is not the case for this seller (OMNIHOP). Returns are only expected within 30 days and they only accept new/unused items. How was I to know this tent is garbage without using it first? I have now spent weeks messaging back and forth, only to be told they will not accept a return and will not refund my money. As for the tent itself. I would pass. The poles are super lightweight aluminum. You could bend them with your two hands. The 12 foot span between corners is far too wide without added support, causing each side to sag. The sides are too short, so that even when the corners are staked, the bottom lip that is meant to be on the ground, floats in the air. Also, the sides are at such an angle, that when it rains, there is a 2-3 foot perimeter inside the tent that gets wet. The tent fabric is not waterproof, not even water resistant. The roll up sides, if not rolled properly, will catch the rain. Apparently, they need to be rolled under to make sure that doesn’t happen.Within the first 15 minutes of being set up, one of the corner poles sheared in half and one of the corner bungees ripped. We were never able to put the sides down because they basically act as sails in any sort of breeze, and believed the tent would take off. Not to mention, when it rained, much of the stuff we had around the perimeter got soaked.Save yourself some money and some hassle.

Love the interior height and attached rain flaps
Love the extra headroom and straight walls and the attached rain flaps are the reason we went with this screen room! We have an original canvas eureka screen house which we needed to replace as it’s age is taking it’s toll on the screening and canvas! Loved it while it lasted 30+ years!!!! Since that screen house is no longer available we are hoping we get the same longevity out of this one

Awesome spacious tent for most outdoors environments.
It’s a great tent for most outdoors environments . It doesn’t take strong winds.

Very well made
I have been waiting for a screen house like this. Worth the money.

Leaking Roof
Purchased this screen house June of 2021. The roof leaks every rain storm. I water proofed it twice and it still leaks. The same model I previously had was over 20yrs old and never leaked. For almost $500 this should be tight and dry!

This is an AMAZING screen tent
I have had the Northern Breeze for 6 seasons and much of that time has been spent in the Outer Banks of NC beaches where it has been exposed to constant sun and storms and winds that have sent MANY lesser sturdy builds to the campground dumpster. This tent is AMAZINGLY well designed and constructed. It recently got pummeled for 12 hours by a storm system over the east coast and shed everything that storm threw at it like it was nothing.I do want to address a couple of issues that I've seen on here and the first one is the design issue that causes water to collect when one of the side flaps is staked with the three tarp poles. If you look at this photo you will see how I resolved that issue, but it doesn't have to be done so formally. I just needed it to work in very tough conditions with wind. On either side of the flaps, midway from the tent to the pole, I sewed a piece of Cordura onto the flap and put a grommet in it. From that, I use a bungee cord to hang a sandbag that I made and fill with sand or rocks or dirt wherever I'm camping. This creates a gutter for the rain to shed from the flap and so far it has worked in the WORST of weather. I try to dig a small hole under the bag so that the draining water will collect and either drain or sometimes I'll dig a little channel for it to run off in. I do not leave these hanging unless it is going to rain as I don't want to stress the tent seams if I don't have to, but so far the corners of the tent are not showing any signs of distress from this. The second thing I want to address is the few complains about being rain proof. For the first five seasons this tent did not leak a drop inside. However, in the sixteenths year it started to wick water through in sustained rain and that would eventually drip inside. So, I waterproofed it with Star Brite waterproofing spray using a garden sprayer and it is once again completely water-repellant except for minimal seam dripping that I will take care of with seam sealer. Given what this tent has endured, especially the beating sun, I think it has given more than a person should ask for. This tent is really a marvelously designed piece of equipment. The flaps on four sides are brilliant. I take the other three sides and extend them tarp style with no poles so as to shed water even more. If I got five years out of this beast I would call it an exceptional value, but I had neighbors at one campground who had one that had been going for 13 years and it still looked strong and study. I expect I will get the same from this one with proper care. That proper care may include a sun fly to keep the original roof from deteriorating due to the UV exposure my kind of beach camping puts this thing through.

The entry sides sag at the roof line of 12 x 12
Great tent, strong material, we bought it because it said it would be taller than the 10 x 10 model, but it sags on the entry side so that many adults have to duck their heads down to enter....which is odd for such tent in this high price range. The entry sides should be reinforced with a horizontal piece somehow so they don't sag. Perhaps we missed a piece? The poles all come apart into multiple pieces, we were hoping they would be laced together for quicker installation.....loose poles are stressful when you get to your campsite and a thousand mosquitoes descend upon you and your family and you are trying to match up poles.

Good product, but
Eureka! Is known for the quality of the product. It did work well in a heavy rain. The size is good to fit very large camping table. Even though it is very, very expensive product we decided to buy it for many years to come and I even got read of all the boxes it came in. We used it once and one of the elastics broke on us. Very disappointed :( for $800+ it should not have any flaws. I will be returning the product.

Fantastic screen house.
Fairly easy to assemble. Much larger than previously owned ones. Can fit two 9’ Kayaks and picnic table out of the rain. Loved the three zippers for door access to get in and out. Also liked the idea of having the option to only open one flap instead of the full side flap. Rain flaps are a great idea, just wish they had Velcro along other areas too to help keep the flap closed during high wind storms. A bit pricy compared to other brands, but hoping this lasts a long time to get the value

Best damn one you can get
I know you are looking, trust me this is the one. Forget the others, hands down after much research and comparisons this one is the best. One full camping season in the books, 27 nights lots of weather, rain and wind it’s stood tall, gave dry shelter for kids to play in bad weather. Lifetime Eureka! Warranty to boot!
