I’m guessing the bad reviews were probably people who didn’t hook the amp up right. Use thick enough wires and don’t bridge beyond its ohms. I upgraded to the new Soundstream bass amp about 5 years ago when the older model gave out after 4 years. I have a Soundstream in my truck, car and boat.
