Q: Will these cables work on the eu3000is honda generators?

You could, but it would not help much. The Eu3000 outputs 2800W continuous (23.3A) and the twist lock plug has a circuit breaker at 30A, so if you parallel two generators, the most you would get is 30A, which is another 6.7A or 800W. The rest of the power is wasted because using it would blow the breaker protecting the L5-30 twist lock receptacle. To be able to get the full power output (5600w/46.6A), would require a very different parallel cable (but it can be done)

Q: This is a sync'ing cable only. Don't you also need a power cable to go between the two units that plugs into one of the AC outlets on each unit?

No, the sync cables do it for you, , you can however plug into either/or unit,, or into the outlets on both units when they are synced and they still share the load. But if just running through one outlet with a good load, use the heavy duty outlet otherwise it will trip the outlet by pulling to much from it. I myself sync the units, shut off the houses main breaker, and then plug one into the a-phase side of the house and the other plug into b-phase side and power up all but the 220 in the house. Reccomend shutting off 220 breakers also and consult an electrician so you dont f it up.
