Would say the smaller the google area the easier it is to fit to your face / less chance of leaking. Very comfy & soft gasket. I've used for long distance (3.8k) triathlon sea swims & lake swims, plus all pool training swims. Great visibility for a sunny open water swim. Speedo quality - faultless. Rinse then keep them in a case else they get gross, like all goggles.
