Practical Matter Organic Cotton Fiber All-Purpose Kitchen Sponge (Pack of 2)

A couple of months ago, I was over my brothers house and I saw my sis-in-law using these pads to wash her dishes. They are thick, durable, hold soap well - they put Dobie pads to shame. I tried to find them in the supermarkets here, but they are always sold out. I found them for a reasonable price on here and got them in a day. I bought 4 of them 2 months ago, and am still using the first one - and we use it every day several times. Well worth it!

I love, love, love these sponges. As crazy as it sounds, I can actually be a sponge snob if there is such a thing. Originally, the only place that I could find these was at Home Goods and lucky for me, Amazon started to sell them. I cannot say enough about these sponges. They last a long time, but I also will soak it in an oxygen booster once a week. This not only keeps the sponge white, but more importantly, it sanitizes it perfectly.

I never thought I would get excited about a SPONGE, but these are really great! They are very soft, and pliable, even when dry, unlike a traditional sponge, and the fibers make it feel like the hook side of Velcro and they do a good job of scrubbing, yet are soft enough that they do not scratch.Best of all, it doesn't start to smell awful, after a few days.I am ordering more, as soon as I finish this review. We have a cabin, in the mountains, and I want to take some there.

I've been buying these for a few years. I like that they're made of natural material, so when I do throw them out, I don't feel so bad about their going into landfill. Gives a really good scrub with no scratching. They do tend to get black mold over time (few months) even though I put them in a place where they get cross ventilation. But most synthetic sponges will either wear out or get stinky during the same time frame and need to be thrown out. I suppose one could bleach them periodically and they might last much longer. Hate dealing with bleach so haven't tried it!

I love these this is my 3rd time buying they last along time I throw them in the washer with my other kitchen things come out great! They have never had a bad smell or fallen apart they snag after awhile and get stained that's when I replace them. Even melted cheese and flour rinse out of them.

I loooooove these sponges! I’ve been using them for years and recommend them to everyone. Since I can’t go shopping for them right now, I was excited to see them on Amazon so I stocked up! They don’t require you to use a ton of soap and they scrub really well. They don’t stay stinky but I think that could be due to the fact that after I finish washing dishing I was the sponge with really hot water and leave it drying overnight.

I ordered this sponge thinking it was one whole piece. However, this is actually a sponge (inside) with a ribbed cloth material (with rough grooves) covering it. I was surprised this was a sponge wrapped in a cloth and not one piece like a sea-sponge or a Scrub Daddy. This wasn't the style nor cloth I thought I was ordering. I don't think this is any better nor worst than a traditional cloth sponge. I hope this review helps.
