Is that a belt attachment?** A: I don't know? mine did not have one, the pouch that in comes in has one loop, I suppose you can use that for hanging off your belt. **Q: is this a suitable item to pemanantly attach to an rv? if so how would anybody try to do that?** A: Drill a hole that will hold a brass or if good plastic is wanted, a Delrin bushing. Many sizes of grommets both U.S. & metric available for sealing too. Install O-rings for water tightness, with cap nuts to tighten to expand the O-rings to snug it, similar to optical lens adjusting. The trouble of it is that water can get into it from outside rains and traveling. Would need some sort of hood over it. Hood is easy enough to make. Find tube that fits over the unit nicely. Spray Plasti-dip on the tube. Plasti-dip peels off so you have only Plasti-dip for the length, or use the original tube with extra Plasti-dip reinforcement. Cut out an area so can close the Plasti-dip cover so an tighten it. Lace it woth cordage if necessary. Use snaps. Whatever. Would want to retract it inside, so the 'hood' may only be a few inches? Might be better to use "Hook and Loop" (Velcro is the most popular brand name for H&L) and simply place it outside of the RV whenever backing so you can see better behind the rear bumper, or if wanting to look around the campground, that would work too. A major problem is that the mirror and lens must align, so it is necessary to spin your head in the direction you want look while simultaneously spinning the mirror that direction. So you will need room to turn and twist your body unless you're an owl. **Q: Any way to attach a small light to the scope for searching dark spaces?** A: Yes. You could attach a mini flashlight with a small hose clamp. You might want to put a piece of leather, or rubber between, or around the scope & not overtighten. **Q: Can the periscope be used to look behind you ? I want to use it to see hehind me when backing up an implement.** A: NO ! unless you want to loosen and rotate the diagonal mirror mounts 180 degrees and remove the mounted mirror , turn 180 degrees and reinstall . This is not worth the effort, Use a hand mirror with a handle to look behind use. This is what I do if i can not turn around. :-) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Field of View *by on Reviewed in Australia 28 November 2021* The field of view is very narrow. It takes some getting used to. But maybe my expectations were too high. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by on Reviewed in Canada 13 October 2019* Worked great. Does whatever a periscope is supposed to do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite good for viewing around corners at distances over 20 feet *by on Reviewed in the United States 27 May 2014* It does two things. It gives quite a good, magnified image, and it looks around or over nearby objects. It is sturdily built, and the top panel of the one I received is held solidly by four screws; I don't anticipate needing to glue anything. When the scope is extended, I do see an edge of image from whatever the tube is pointing at, such as the ceiling while looking out of a window. That part sneaks in around the angled head, but it does not seriously interfere with the clarity of what is being viewed. The periscope isn't useful for viewing at short distances, such as in tight spaces, small rooms, or perhaps most home hallways, because anything closer than about 20' remains out of focus. Especially if there is any danger, you don't want to see something up close that is a confusing mass of magnified and blurry. The scope is good, though, for use outdoors or in larger constructions, where there is adequate distance. I find this product to be quite a decent 5x monocular that can look around corners or view above a crowd. The case is designed to hold the scope and the handle separately. At first, I didn't like the need to attach the handle before every use, but then I rethought that concern. The shortened case is better for transport and storage, but when you want to use the case as a holster in active situations, the attached handle protrudes for easy access. The case has a strap and also a belt loop (at the end that opens), offering a choice of carry options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Uzi Expandable Tactical Professional Periscope Adjustable 20" to 27", Weatherproof Aluminum Spy Periscope for Adults, Kids, Hunting, Hiking, Surveillance, 5X HD Magnification, Black - 5X Periscope HD Monocular Portable Monoculars Periscope, Adjustable 20" to 27" Observation Telescope for Bird Watching Hunting Hiking Concert Travelling --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/291688690-uzi-expandable-tactical-professional-periscope-adjustable-20-to-27-weatherproof](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/291688690-uzi-expandable-tactical-professional-periscope-adjustable-20-to-27-weatherproof) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
