Great for the price. Better than expected.
I actually bought a 48v phantom power supply and an extra XLR cable, because the reviews kept going back and forth about the need for phantom power. Honestly, I found this mic to be much louder without the phantom power and plugged straight into my sound card. I’m not sure why, unless the voltage is too high. The boom is OK, but I am a bit skeptical it will last through a lot of moving around over the next year or so…who knows? The shock mount was quite nice, as well. The pop filter and mic cover are adequate. Placing the pop filter claps upside down on the boom seemed to hold it in place, better. I put the pop filter about 1 inch from the mic and have my mouth about 3-4 inches from that. This makes sure I’m being picked up adequately by the cardioidal pattern, and the plosives don’t get picked up. I actually found the mic handles plosives pretty well without anything in between, but I use the pop filter, anyway. My “S” was a bit sharp on the mic, so that’s something I’ll have to work on and is likely something I can fix with better mic technique. The mic, itself, is definitely what it advertises to be in the specs. It’s a bit on the heavy side and I found it best to my use (tutorial videos) to place it with the front of the mic facing me, but not downwards. I suspected the frequency range on this might not be quite good enough for my tastes, but it's still a very good purchase for all that you get.UPDATE: So I've managed to get this working through my DAW (Fruity Loops) and I'm able to master the vocals well enough that this now sounds deeper and richer, while still very clear. The biggest gripe I have so far is that the pop doesn’t want to completely stay in place, due to gravity. It seems the neck/stem itself is what is overly weighty. I have no real qualms with the mic, other than it not picking up the lows a little more than I prefer, but..post-processing is taking care of most of that now. I may try using the phantom power supply again, now that I can post-process it and see if the mic sounds any different.UPDATE: I bought a cheap mixer and the 48V phantom power juices this thing perfectly. I apparently bought an 18V phantom power supply before, which wasn't enough. What I still don't understand is why I can connect this to my sound card straight up and it sounds louder than with the lower phantom power, but hey. I got this thing working. Nice mic!

Amazingly Suprised
Read several reviews saying this product was a good quality microphone. Then I noticed, they were reviewing the product for free. Made me skeptical. After deciding to go ahead and make the purchase, I'm glad I did. Got the whole setup delivered quickly. Set it all up and Aukey didn't disappoint one bit. I'm running through a Scarlett 2i2 and GarageBand. I've played instruments and recorded backup vocals quite a few times, but decided to obtain my own gear and record some things. Bottom line is, I've used mics in the hundreds of dollars range that do not sound this good. Get it now, while they offer the whole setup (which is sturdy and good quality as well).

The boom arm is the best part of this
The boom arm is the best part of this. It's really great and has been holding up well after 6 months of hard use. The microphone itself is okay, it's pretty cheap. I needed to add a microphone amplifier to get it loud enough, but this is suggested on the description of the product so it was not unexpected. Once I got the little $15 power supply hooked up, it has been performing well. I use it for voice chat/streaming on my PC. I like it much more than a headset mic, and now i can wear studio quality headphones while i play.

Well made Mic for the price!
Very high quality mic however it's not really plug and play for a laptop, I only got this so I can start making voice overs for videos, still trying to get the mic to work, but it looks like I have to buy an interface/phantom power supplyUpdate! I ordered the icicle mic power supply from amazon and it works in pc and works very well!

Honestly if you're going this far, shouldve gotten a Blue Snowball mic
It works very close to the SnowBall's performace, so if you like the professional look, maybe stick with this and not the Snowball. However, most gamers will want the snowball.

Fantastic value.
This microphone is excellent. I just wish I would have purchased one of these sets years ago. I love how it comes with everything you need. The Adjustable Suspension Scissor Arm Stand with table clamp, the pop filters, the shock mount, and an XLR cable. This set up is excellent for anyone that needs to do home-recording of any sort.
