Review: FUN - I bought this Champion Sports tether ball for our backyard, and it has been a genuinely nice addition. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, just something durable that the kids could play with and that wouldn’t fall apart after a few uses. This one has been perfect so far. The material feels solid but still soft enough that it doesn’t sting when you hit it, which is great for younger kids (and for adults who forget how hard they’re swinging). It inflated easily and has maintained its shape without requiring constant refills. The stitching looks sturdy, and even after a few weeks of daily use, it hasn’t shown any signs of fraying or wear. It has that classic playground feel, which brings a bit of nostalgia every time we play. The weight is just right—light enough for kids to handle, but heavy enough to make the game feel fun and competitive. What surprised me the most was how much everyone actually uses it. The kids go out and play with it on their own, and even the adults end up taking turns when we’re outside. It’s one of those simple things that ends up being way more fun than you expect. Overall, it’s just a great, straightforward tether ball that does precisely what you want it to do. No issues, no complications, just a solid, well-made ball that’s been a hit with the whole family. Definitely worth it
Review: Good Quality Tetherball, but Wears Quickly in Hot Weather - This Champion Sports Tether Ball works well with our home tetherball pole and has provided a lot of outdoor fun for our family. It was easy to attach and has the right weight and bounce for casual play. The kids love using it, and it’s held up well to regular use. However, we did notice that it started showing signs of weathering fairly quickly. The color faded, and the material began to feel a bit rough after a couple of months. To be fair, we live in a very hot, sunny area, so the intense summer heat and UV exposure probably sped up the wear and tear.

### ⭐ Defective tetherballs
*by G***R on March 12, 2026*

I purchased one and it had no nipple, which had fallen into the ball. I returned it for another one and it would not stay inflated. I put it underwater and it was leaking from the seams.
