Strong sturdy plastic and you can tell it's good quality - my daughter is 2.5 years and she has dropped hers multiple times and it's never been damaged! I did notice after dropping them that the stopper comes loose and sometimes falls out but that's pretty typical for silly cups, the rubber stopper overall works great to prevent spills!
