Wow. If only I'd purchase this sooner.
I've had my fair share of gaming headsets both cheap and expensive. This pair in particular blew my expectations out the water. For something as cheap price wise, I was not expecting much at all. Turns out, I was so wrong. Not only do these come with 7.1 surround sound, the build quality is just superb. Yes, the headset is made mostly of plastic but it does not have the cheapo plastic you'd get from the dollar store. There is quite a bit of heft to the headset although I still wouldn't just drop these randomly (and neither should you with a headset of any kind). The ear cups and head cushion are also made of leather which can be both a good and bad thing. Good: it's super comfortable, cancels a LOT of outside noise, and is super stylish. Bad: tends to get warm if your room is pretty warm as well however this goes for most headsets that use leather or thicker foam for ear cups.Sound quility is pretty good for what it is. Obviously this will not out compete Audio Technicas but even if you game a lot, these will still offer you the tiniest bit of sound detail. The bass is pretty good and the headset handles the highs just as well too. You also get a pretty need configuration software to customize your sound profile the way you enjoy it most.As for the mic quality, the mic receiver itself is very durably and definitely not going to break on you unless of course you forcefully do so. It captures voice very well (I can whisper and would still be able to hear me). The sensitivity of the mic can be customize using your PC's settings and the software that comes with it as well. In terms of quality, it's not a Blue Microphone by any means however it does place itself neatly with the higher quality headsets with mics attached. I do have a warning however: don't out your mouth too close to the receiver because it WILL overload the mic. Other than that, the sound is pretty crisp and clear.

Good Bang For Buck Entry Level Gaming Headset
Definitely not the best gaming headset for PC on the market, but this one is a pretty good bang for buck (or it was based on the deal of the day price I got it for). If you can get these for the $20-25 you have yourself a decent, comfortable backup headset that will be good in case your top of the line gaming set is out for repairs or breaks. Only real issue with it is that it's easy to accidentally mute the other speakers so you think you got dropped offline, and the other issue is that it could be a little louder (I guess to be louder it would need additional non-usb power but it would be worth it if they added that without increasing cost more than $5 or $10 more). All in all, I've used a lot worse headsets and I've also used a lot better headsets that cost a lot more money. This is a good starter set for someone just looking for something inexpensive to get them by until they're sure they want to play often enough to justify a more expensive set from Turtle Beach or Astro or whatever. My "real" set are some Turtle Beach CoD Ghost Ear Force ones that sound a lot better but were considerably more money when they were new.

Driver install Bluescreen + static/noise after every sound
I previously bought a 902 which lasted about a year before the mic stopped working, and another year before one of the speakers stopped. I didn't take very good care of it, but I it still worked for 2+ years. I bought this one on the hopes of being an upgrade, in terms of quality and durability. It didn't come in a box, just a bag, and the top headband was bent. I plugged it into my USB slot and it seemed to work, though it was only stereo since I hadn't installed the drivers yet. I inserted the disc that came with it, and started the install process, which resulted in a bluescreen. I swapped USB ports, and tried again, but another bluescreen. I looked through the manual and went to the website it listed to get the drivers from there, but neither version would recognize the headset. Upon finally getting the drivers it came with to install without bluescreening, I tested the audio, which was terrible. I'm not sure how to explain it, but after playing a test tone, when the tone ended gargled distorted static sound would play. I tried messing with settings in the program and trying different USB slots, nothing fixed it, and I got another bluescreen.I uninstalled the drivers, packed up the headset and immediately requested a refund. Upon investigating further I found that there were multiple Sades sites, one of which stated that the Sades products with SA in their names (SA903, SA902, ect) were made for China, and that they were not to be exported due to them not meeting market standards. I do not recommend purchasing these, or any other Sades SA series items. Find the US versions instead.
