The mixer is 14 years old and has never let me down during its use. I keep it on my kitchen counter since I use it often. When I ran across this cover, I figured my faithful mixer deserved to be protected from everyday kitchen grime! As a bonus, rather than relegate the many attachments to a cupboard shelf, I put them all inside the bowl and cover everything beautifully with this cover. There are 2 substantial pockets stitched in one side where I store the spiral recipe book and instruction/care guide the mixer came with. The cover is machine quilted with strong thread and the material is quite thick, with a subtle sheen to it. It covers my mixer fully, top to bottom and is roomy enough so it isn’t tight fitting. Any random liquid/food splashes easily wipes away with a damp cloth. I’m extremely satisfied with this item and pleased by the economical cost! I wouldn't use this for attachments because dust and dirt would easily fall into the attachments.The cover is large enough that I can leave the bowl attached so I just put my 2 most used attachments right in the bowl. .
