I have very dark black/brown, mixed with white, roots. My hair is dyed a cool-toned platinum blonde, so (needless to say), my grow out looks pretty terrible. I was in pretty desperate need of a short term solution, and this stuff did the trick. It takes about three minutes, after application, for it to really mask the roots properly. It seems to dry to just the right color. It really is amazing stuff. Not a miracle, but it doesn't look tacky, doesn't look like spray paint - it just looks good - subtle. ### ⭐ Junk and not returnable *by on Reviewed in the United States February 21, 2020* I'm not sure why there are so many positive reviews for this expensive, ineffective product! I had high hopes but this product is going into the trash. Unfortunately it is not returnable, either. $30 down the drain. The worst part is this product made my freshly washed hair looked greasy, and it did not camouflage the roots. I even tried to layer the color, but no luck. I have light to medium blonde hair naturally, and light blonde highlights. This product (I bought light blonde) did nothing to cover the grown out roots. It came out a weird yellow and even after drying, I wouldn't consider the color from the can light blonde. It does come off on your fingers, and if you get some in your part, you will need to remove with a q-tip.
