Daughter needed swaddled until 8 months, this was fantastic! I owe many apologies!
This was great for my 6-7 month old daughter who would NOT sleep without being swaddled. The pediatrician (as well as my husband, who had been reading in books to drop the swaddle at 3 months. Must. Stop. Exactly. Then.) had been telling us to drop the swaddle after 3 months, but our daughter was sleeping with it, and with two working professionals (physicians ourselves, me being a family physician and my husband knowing NOTHING about children) in the house, we cherished that sleep. I'm well aware of the recommendations and recognize that children are not books. Our daughter wasn't rolling, had great head control, but just wasn't sleeping without it. Needless to say, this thing was a godsend, since we were using muslin blankets to swaddle her in her crib. The other thing I loved about this was that the zipper is on the bottom, so you didn't have to remove to change a diaper, and the legs were much freer in this sac with or without it zipped. We were able to gradually transition her to one arm out, then both. Despite this, SHE decided when she wanted to sleep without a swaddle. Over the course of a week, she began crying when we swaddled her, as opposed to stopping crying when we swaddled her. So, a week with both arms out, wrapping the tabs beneath them, and she's been sleeping without it since 8 months. So, parents, I apologize for any nagging advice I had given other parents/patients because I had no idea what it was like to function with a newborn. Do what is best for your sanity and your baby. I am now technically a baby sleep and breastfeeding expert (a whole new set of apologies to moms--both breast and bottlefeeding. The pressures!!). I will totally plug this sleep sack. Just do it!

Comparable to the Miracle Blanket
We have gone through all stages of Summer Infant Swaddles and this is the last one. I really love that these swaddles are soft to the touch and come with a zipper hidden at the bottom of the swaddle for easy overnight diaper changes. The inside has built in snaps at the shoulders for easy in and out. the inner flap has a velcro to prevent your wriggly baby from breaking free and the outside flap has 2 velcro tabs that adhere to the back of the swaddle. I only have this swaddle 4 stars because i wish that the inner flap was a bit longer so that it fold all the way around the baby. Otherwise, I definitely recommend. Comparable to the Miracle Blanket.

Works fine. I needed the biggest one I could find ...
Works fine. I needed the biggest one I could find since I have a long baby, and this seemed to be it. But even though my baby is sorta chubby the wings wrap so far around her that the Velcro barely still hits the felt on the other side. It's still this way even though she is getting close to being the max length for it. But it's worked well enough for us for a few months now.

Runs slightly bigger than the SwaddleMe Adjustable Wrap
The small size of the Wrapsack runs bigger than the small size of the Swaddleme Adjustable Wrap, in case you are looking for a comparison. Though our baby is growing out of the small size of the adjustable wrap, this wrapsack is actually still a little large on her.I have only used it as the traditional swaddle, and haven't tried the one arm in/one arm out, or the no arms in. The main difference between this wrapsack and the adjustable wrap is the very first layer-you put the baby in almost a body sleeve, which snaps into two connectors at the top. Then you wrap the wings just like the adjustable wrap. This particular wrap is super soft, and the design is cute!

Much too big to function as advertised
I was disappointed to find that this was much too big to work in the way it was advertised. We have been swaddling our four month old baby with blankets but in order to get a good tight swaddle, we have to use two blankets and at least one of those is a flannel Swaddle Designs blanket. They work really well to keep his arms contained and help him sleep, but it's much too hot right now for that much covering. I was really hoping this would be a nice, lightweight alternative. However, I couldn't even get close to a tight swaddle with this product, even though he is 16 pounds - so well within the weight guidelines for a large. He easily got his arms up and the pushed the material all around. There's not an easy way to make it tighter because the areas where the velcro fastens are relatively small. We would like to transition out of the swaddle soon, but we will probably still have times we want him fully swaddled and there's just no point to keeping the WrapSack for that. I had to return it and look for different option.

Size info
I bought this in size small and large...I figured my daughter would fit into the small and have room to grow in the large. I could not find sizing info on these anywhere! Not even the manufacturers website. So to help future buyers, here's the sizing listed on the packages:Small: 7-14lbsLarge: 14-20lbsThe small does seem to run a little big, my daughter is 13lbs 24.5 inches and it looks like there's plenty if space left

size run BIG
I love this product. My daughter likes to be swaddled but her arms out. However the sizes do NOT run the same as the swaddle blankets. In the blanket my daughter needs a large. A large in the wrap sack will fit a 2 year old. I went back and ordered a small.it's still too big. This product is great but meant for bigger babies. We just use the swaddle blanket and pill her arms out.

Lifesavers
Idk what to even say. I never thought I would love an item so much. I had bought these and the swaddle pods and tucked them away. My daughter was crying and crying and would not stay asleep for more than 30 mins unless she was being held. I was at my wits end. Then i broke out one of these and wrapped her up tight and she fell asleep right away. And for 5 hours!!! These are amazing. Every baby is different but these defiently worked for me. Give them a try if you dont know what else to do, you can always return :p
