It starts to give a calming effect after about 30 minutes and lasts for an hour or so. It was highly recommended by my doctor (an integrative health MD). It was given to me to help with withdrawals from Klonopin. You have to take at least 9 tablets a day, and it gets very expensive (and cumbersome) for the 3 to 4 hours of relief you get.

I have used this product for years. First recommended by my acupuncturist for anxiety, I continue to take one dose of Calm Spirit to help me relax before sleeping. I think of it as a tonic. If I'm going thru an anxious period, I take them more often per instructions. 3 tablets 1-3x per day with no side effects.

I originally purchased this to take with Great Yin. After about 3 days my hot flasheswere gone- and my mind cleared. After taking a small 90 count bottle of Great Yin and Calm Spirit -I now take1 tablet 3x a day and continue to experience a much more peaceful outlook and hotflashes have not come back. Thank You!

I absolutely love this product, but the past few times I've ordered it the quality lessens each time. I wonder if they are expired or getting too hot in transit. They are extremely crumbly and turns to dust when you touch them. It makes me gag trying to take them in powder form. Such a waste of money.

I love this product. It really helps to balance me out when I get overly stressed from work. I can feel the difference, so I focus on how I feel to determine how many I need to take, and I take it three times a day.

This product used in conjunction with Ease Plus does an excellent job of enabling me to better manage stress in all situations. I experience no physical side effects but am able to be productive and effective in stressful situations.
