Temporary Hair Color Wax by Common Panda - Golden Orange Hair Dye

Ordered the red and blue for my son and he loves it. It's a whipped texture that goes on like hair gel. The blue is very bright and nice. The red is more pink. My son mixes the two sometimes to get purple. It washes out extremely easily in the shower and does not stain pillows or bed sheets. Can be a little messy but wipes off skin with a wet towel and soap.

Complete waste of money and time. This is wax paste and is a horrible mess. Took forever to dry. There is no way to make this not get on every surface. Don't put a hair dryer on it. If you comb or brush through after it is dry a powdered blue dust goes everywhere. It was a major amount of work to get off the tub, toilet, sink, and light flooring as well as skin and clothing. My daughter was crushed that this didn't work AT ALL. The rest of this went right into the trash.

I like it because it was easy to put in my hair and racy to wash out. I have very short grey hair and it was a pretty color of pink in the white but a bit darker in the dark hair but I expected that. It washed out easy too.

It stains your tub and your sink so beware. It does wash out the hair really easily though. If you brush your hair (A LOT) it will not feel thick with goo, but it does still feel slightly tacky. If you have a super fine tooth comb, it helps distribute the color better but be warned the color flicks off everywhere with the finer comb. That's how I got it speckled all over my bathroom counter and sink.I put it in my daughter's hair this afternoon and she wore it for about 5 hours. A little went a long way on her fine hair. There was still some transfer on our clothes from when she hugged us so we washed it out before bed just in case despite the product advertising it wouldn't transfer. It also leaves a slight smell. Not anything harsh and chemical smelling, but definitely a distinct smell.In the end, I probably won't use it too much. It's a bit of a mess to apply and get it to where your hair isn't stiff. She had fun with it, but it's not really worth it and I'd probably have better luck with the spray color we all used as kids for Halloween.

This product does work, but it's very tricky. Fortunately they do provide you with a tutorial and tips to try to make it easier on you. You'll still have to experiment a little, finding the right amount of "wet but not too wet" on your hair to make sure the product absorbs well but doesn't make your hair super sticky or doesn't stay. I have very dark hair and the end result was a purple that shined well in the light but wasn't really visible in low light situations. It did also get a bit stiff - like the feeling of having a ton of hairspray in your hair. While it wasn't rubbing off on to the sofa or my shirt once dry, I did notice it on my fingers if I ran them through my hair. I didn't feel good about the idea of sleeping on it and waking up with a purple cheek so I washed it out before bed, and it came out super easily. A good product for some fun temporary color as long as you've got the time to get the application just right.

Bought this for my junior high age niece. Nice way for her to add color to her hair without it being permanent.

This product is easy to use and has a vibrant blue color. We’ve tried over blue hair coloring options and this has been our favorite.

I was using a temporary purple dye on my hair and I loved it. Thought I'd try something simple and easy like this wax. Boy was I disappointed! It does not spread well. It clumps up.Made my hair stiff. Will never even try a wax again because of this experience!
